My roof top container garden

This year I had a very good luck with the plants that I had planted for my monsoon reason. I have already shared a post on what I had planted for the monsoon. Last year I had planted a black eyed Susanne but I was very disappointed that the plant did not bore any flowers.This year the plant has rewarded me with lots of flowers. May be last year the plant was not mature enough to bear flowers. I have waited a long time to see the plant grow up. I still remember, many a times I thought of removing the plant completely and throw it out.I was totally exhausted with this plant.once my father had also asked me why am I growing weeds in my garden. This year all my wishes have been full filled by the plant. It bore three flowers and they were just beautiful.  The gaillardia plants have also bloomed profusely... I wont write much just the clicks will narrate their story... The beauty of the yellow cosmos is just breath taking. I love to grow cosmos. ...

Hello Readers, Since the Bulb garden is all set for the summer, I am waiting eagerly for the blooms. Meanwhile I have also planted the seedlings of the usual summer plants that is often grown in the months of the summer. I picked up seedlings of Gomphrena, Morning Glory, Tithonia, Rudbeckia, Dwarf Sunflower, Giant Sunflowers, Teddy Bear Sunflower, Zinnia, portulaca, Gaillardia, kochia bush, Cosmos and Balsam from the local stores. The seedlings were immediately transplanted to the pots (using the same potting mixture as discussed in my earlier post) so as to increase its life expectancy. Since the seedlings are too small to bear the after noon sun hence i have decided to keep them under shade. Once they reach a particular height and i am satisfied that they are ready for the full sun i will shift them to my roof top garden. Below are some of the snaps from my garden. Hi Everyone, The winter season has almost come to its end. This winter i had a great experience with my garden. Lovely shades of color were all around the garden. Each corner had its own delight. Even the climbers which had been growing all year round have come up with beautiful blooms. The vividness of the colors and flowers were just breath taking.   Here are some of the clicks from my garden.
